Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to paid consultations and engagements with Scalable Dev (reserve planning, capital allocation reviews, treasury briefings, and portfolio structure audits). It does not cover third-party software purchases such as Microsoft Store acquisitions.

Deposit and confirmation

A 40% deposit confirms scheduling. The remaining balance is due on delivery of the agreed written materials or completion of the briefing.

Full refund eligibility

You may receive a full refund of amounts paid if:

• We cancel the engagement for reasons within our control and no suitable reschedule is agreed within 30 days; or
• You cancel in writing more than 14 days before the first scheduled session and no substantive preparatory work beyond intake has begun.

Partial refunds

If you cancel between 7 and 14 days before the first session, we retain 50% of the deposit for preparation already performed and refund the remainder of amounts paid. If you cancel within 7 days of the first session, the deposit is non-refundable; any amount paid above the deposit is refunded if work has not started.

Non-refundable items

• Deposits after substantive drafting or session facilitation has begun, except where we are in material breach
• Completed briefings and delivered memoranda
• Third-party room hire or translator fees incurred at your request and itemised in the engagement letter

Work already started

Once working sessions have begun or a draft memorandum has been shared, fees for completed stages are earned. Unused future sessions may be credited toward a reschedule within 90 days or refunded on a pro-rata basis at our discretion after deducting work performed.

Rescheduling

Each engagement includes one free reschedule with at least 5 business days’ notice. Later or repeated reschedules may incur a ₩250,000 administrative fee.

No-shows

If your nominated attendees do not join a scheduled session without 24 hours’ notice, that session is treated as delivered for fee purposes. We will offer one makeup session within 30 days where diaries allow.

Materials

Client-provided documents remain yours. Our templates and unpublished working notes remain ours. Delivery of the final memorandum completes the core paid deliverable for reserve planning engagements.

Refund process and timing

Email contact@scalable-dev.digital with your engagement reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days. Bank or card processing times may add several days.
